25-26 May, at Chernoe airfield, festival "The SKY: Theory and Practice" will take place. Festival's guests will have a chance to watch spectacular helicopter race. Competition will be organized by the Federation of Helicopter sport of Russia and by the International Academy of Helicopter sport. The strongest Russian crews will fight for the right to be called the best pilots! Heliraces in Slalom and Fender rigging will be held according play-off system.
In contrast to world championships, where crews get penalties mainly for accuracy of flight, the main factor in heliraces is speed. It makes the competition much more interesting and spectacular for fans.
