July 24, 2018 in Belarus at the airport "Borovaya" near Minsk starts the 16th FAI world championship in helicopter sport or, as it is called, helicopter Mundial it will be attended by 34 crews from 7 countries: Austria, Belarus, Germany, China, Poland, Russia, Ukraine. Athletes on mi-2 and R-44 helicopters will compete in four main disciplines: "Navigation", "precision Flight", "cargo Delivery" and "Slalom", the results of which will be played in person-team championship.
A 28 and 29 August will be played in the final place, the fourth stage of the world Cup helicopter races. By tradition, flights in the disciplines of "Slalom" and "Delivery of goods" will be the most spectacular part of the air battles, because unlike the world Cup, where pilots are judged for inaccuracies, in Cup competitions speed comes to the fore.
