Today, 20 of March, 2019 the Minister of sports of Russia P. A. Kolobkov signed the Order No. 41нг about assignment of the honorary sports rank "Merited master of sports of Russia"* to Maxim Sotnikov.
Maxim has repeatedly won the Russian Championships. In 2018, together with Aleh Puajukas, he became the Absolute World champion in helicopter sport.
Maxim Sotnikov is Vice-President of the Russian Federation of Helicopter sports, and since 2013 he has been the head of the International Academy of Helicopter sport, based at Konakovo airfield in the Tver region.
