The 55th Russian helicopter championship is over.

On September 18 and 19, 2020, the 55th anniversary Russian helicopter championship was held at Konakovo airfield. Unfortunately, foreign crews were not able to come to Russia. So, 9 crews from Moscow, Moscow and Samara regions took part in the competition.

Athletes competed in four events - "Navigation", "Precision flight", "Fender rigging" and "Slalom".

On the first day of the competition, the weather was changeable and rainy. We had to adapt to it all the time. Still, the plan for the first day of the competition was fully implemented. Three events were held successfully.

On September 20, competitions were held in "Slalom" and in heliraces "Parallel fender rigging".

After all competitions were held, the winners were awarded.

The absolute champion of Russia in 2020 is the crew from Moscow - Yuri Yablokov and Konstantin Podoynitsyn. Their team-mates from Moscow - Maxim Sotnikov and Vasily Golovkin are in second place. The bronze medalists are the crew from Samara region - Peter Vasiliev and Viktor Degtyar.

Congratulations to the winners and participants of the championship! We are looking forward to see all our friends in 2021 at Konakovo airfield!
